Dear potential Mandarin learners,
My name is Chloe Y., a TCSOL-certified Mandarin teacher and former Occupational Therapist, with over ten years of experience working with children and older adults in healthcare and community settings in Taipei, Taiwan, as well as several cities across China.
In 2023, I completed 120 hours of professional Mandarin teaching training, and in 2024 I officially began my teaching journey. Between 2024 and 2025, I taught learners from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds, 🇧🇪🇳🇴🇸🇪🇵🇹🇫🇷🇯🇵🇰🇷🇹🇭🇻🇳🇲🇲🇵🇭🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺🇨🇦🇷🇺🇲🇽🇨🇴🇩🇪🇯🇴🇦🇹🇮🇳🇨🇿🇵🇱, delivering over 928 class hours of Mandarin instruction.
I am also a language learner myself, currently studying Japanese, which allows me to deeply understand the challenges and emotions involved in learning a new language. My goal is not only to teach Mandarin, but to support learners through the entire learning journey. I look forward to welcoming you to class in 2026.
